During the second week of working on my Henry Hudson's Minecraft world I am still encountering a lot of help from my classmates. I still find Minecraft hard and difficult. But my classmates, and especially Kava, have helped me a lot in the process of building my Minecraft world.
From having a 2 block river, I am know learning how to make a bigger and better doc, and a bigger and better boat. Before i was just using the boats that the inventory provided for us, but now I am learning to do more. I have also put more sign for people to know what is what. I have redone the grounds and the shapes of the rivers/bays to look more like the real life bodies of water. Through all of this I feel like I have learned a lot because before I literally knew nothing about Minecraft and how to work it, but at least now I know how to work and maneuver myself around the Minecraft worlds. Through this project I have also become more comfortable with working on weekly and keynote/google slides.

1.Henry Hudson was well educated and studied a variety of subjects including cartography, navigation, astronomy, mathematics and worked in the sea. 2.Henry Hudson was supported by the Muscovy Company to make voyages of exploration to the New World "to discover a passage by the North Pole to Japan and China." Which he never found. 3.May 1607: The First Voyage included 20-30 crew members along with Henry Hudson; they were on the Hopewell. They travelled to Greenland and Whale Bay 750 miles north of the Arctic Circle. 4.April 1608: The Second Voyage of Henry Hudson was also on the Hopewell through the Arctic waters north of Russia but failed to find a Northeast passage, which was his original task. 5.Henry Hudson’s final discoveries were: the Hudson River, the Hudson Strait and the Hudson Bay. Due to the fact that I am not a gamer, nor do I care for games on any type gaming system or computer I find this Minecraft assignment to be difficult at times. I do not understand which buttons do what, so someone is usually helping me; usually Kava. He has helped me to learn how to put stuff into my inventory so that I am actually able to build my world! |
