Do you agree that the modern world is indeed a victim of the Malthusian Flux? If so, explain How? If not, explain why? I believe that the world did fall victim to the Malthusian Flux. The Malthusian Theory of Population is a theory of exponential population growth and arithmetic food supply growth. I think it did fall victim because our world today is still fighting what has been fought since the beginning of time. Modern times have become more sophisticated and advanced, not in our benefit. Also, the Malthusian channel by which a high level of population reduces income per capita is still relevant in poor developing countries that have large rural populations dependent on agriculture, as well as in countries that are heavily reliant on mineral or energy exports. I think this mini project impacted my view as a leader the most so far because each and one of these people had and impactful mindset and believed in speaking their minds. Learning many things from having a good heart and a strong mind expanded my views on leadership. Also, learning that women never had a voice and were treated like trash was an eye opener. So many women from back then had a voice and were leaders, but never got to voice what they felt and that is the most disappointment in our society. This affected me personally because not only am I motivated to get good grades, especially in this class, but I want to become a better person/leader. I know how to voice my opinion and fight for what I believe in, but learning more and more from this class new leadership skills, expands my knowledge continually. Especially in sports, learning leadership is important because playing a team sport, I want to be the one on the team who brings them up when we're losing and give them their confidence back. Leading is not being better, but itʻs making the ones around you better. The community service plan my group and I were planning on doing was from the 808 cleanup website. The first cleanup we were planning on doing with 808 Cleanup was, on January 2nd, 2020 at Kapolei Community Park from 9am-11am, but because my group mates and I live on on different parts of the island from Pauoa to Hawaiʻi Kai to Kāneʻohe, it ended up being too hard to complete. Then on January 5th, 2020 from 9am - 11am, my group and I had made another plan previously on joining RHS 808 cleanups for their cleanup at Kalihi Valley District Park. Unfortunately, my group and I could not follow through with that plan because a group member had last minute plans with their family. Even so, that day I had a very important tournament called power league and I had to be there at 1pm, so back to back, I would have to go from the cleanup (plus waking up early), straight to my tournament.
