This project is connected to the things we learned in world history class this year because my group members and I have impacted our community and we are slowly making the world and ourselves, a better place. We predicted to make a little bit of money in the beginning with the t-shirt designs, but then we ended up making $500 for the organization as well as raising awareness and our time that we are donating.
I believe that we did such a great job in all. One of the toughest times we had was attempting to get our t-shirt design approved, which never happened. Another small problem we had was selling the tickets. Yet, we came together with communication and ended up selling all of them. I contributed by researching the organization, contacting the main organizer for Poi dogs and Popoki, contacting Jamba juice to buy the tickets and pick them up, fronting all of the money by myself, then selling my portion of tickets, as well as two other group members portions as they were not willing to pay. In total, I sold 50/100 of the total tickets.

I have sold 30/20 of my tickets. Since 2/5 of my other group members didn't pay for their tickets.4/25/2017 |
