Coming from a family of fisherman, I felt compelled to give back to this resource that has been giving back to me for my whole life. Protecting it from creatures coming in with bad intentions is very importing to the well being of the ocean. During this project there was a little struggle. We faced some rough weather that wasn't ideal for our surveying. seeing the changes over time is crazy. Things I never thought iʻd see, i'm seeing. Times are changing and that is why we need to change too. We need to connect with each other for the bigger cause. Most people In our communities depend greatly on the ocean for most of their meals. The least we can to is help control what fish are there.

Aloha,
today is Friday April 17th 2017, I have started to do surveys collecting data for about how many invasive fish are in about 100 yard radius in kāneʻohe bay. I have also been catching toʻau and taʻape and roy. They continue to breed and make babies with out having major threats. the weather conditions at this time are rainy. I have looked in the stomachs of these fishes finding that they they eat a lot of small uhh or parrot fish and goat fish.. Aloha,
