Finally, my mountain was completed!! However, it took me longer than what I have expected. Anyhow, I have moved onto my 2nd level. On this second level I planned on having the Messner book store and maybe even his family home. The video below shows me building the foundation of the second level. I realized after building the second level that the foundation leaves a huge shadow on the top of my mountain. Next time I build a level it would be wise to use glow stone. But, since I didn't want to rebuild the whole level I added glow stones to the mountain in the hopes that it would be a substitute for rocks. After building the second level I decided to build one of Messner's underground museums. Unfortunately, I don't have a video of me developing this museum. I'm hoping that it won't take me too long to build the museum. I was planning to just put some artifacts here and there, as well as some paintings. Some unexpected problems I faced was the fact that there wasn't much underground space. Due to this I had to add on an extra layer of land so underground has more space. Luckily, last time I cleared out most of the space I needed for my museum so I can go onto building it quickly. I can only put in more effort in the hope of making this a success :)

Our class has just recently started our new minecraft project :) Recently it has been really fun and difficult at the same time. I found myself struggling with the controls and I had to depend on some of my classmates for support. However, now I can proudly say I am a bit more familiar with the process and things have been getting done. The mountain however took me quite a while. Trust me, building blocks and blocks up into a mountain is hard work. Down below you will see a video and a picture of my progress, Sorry, but it will probably be a bit boring. From now on, I plan to add more floors including the museum and library of Reinhold Messner. Please look forward to the finished project 👅💙 |
