I feel like my group and I are finished with our project and all there is to do and all we need to do it present to the class or an audience. The kind of leaderships skills that have learned is responsibility and initiative. most members in my group were always second guessing who does which part and I just stepped up and did what I could without hesitation. The connections that I see is that Homeless is a very big problem globally and i can first address it in my community first and maybe have an impact on other communities. The obstacles I have overcome with this project is by not being ashamed and just doing what I have to do. Something I can do better for my next blog update is to upload it on time.

Something that we could do everyday thatʻl help with our homelessness is donating or by going out after your meals or free times to give out supplies and necessities to those we may see on the side of buildings or roads. But, homelessness aren’t those that we see on the side of the road but there are also homeless shelters. You can donate your time or once again, necessities to supply those in need. This would help by at least supporting them with the things they need such as canned goods, soap, towels. etc.
The Progress that i have made so far on my project is collecting cans. I was able to get canned goods from family members and my families co-workers and peers too. Now all thats left to do is to organize and donate to the Food bank here in Hawaii. This project means a lot to me because my actions will have an impact on many and I can be able to influence others to also join this project. When I am completing this project I will be able to see different perspectives of different struggles and get to compare them to my country. This will be a good experience for me to learn and grow from. In the end, I can gather what Iʻve done and see what was a success and what wasn't.
Aloha my name is Klaudia Watson and Our topic is about the homeless being hungry. It is important to do action-research on this because in order to sustain a nation we must address the problems and I feel like this is a big problem in Hawaii. They deserve to have the right nutrition also. My group is Aislen Bacalso, Hauʻoli Meyers and Jayden Flores. The steps that will be executed are donating cans to the Hawaiian Food drive and going out to the homeless. Something I have found challenging about this so far is meeting up with my peers and finding the time to perform this action-research project. Something that I expect to learn out of this project is to see different traits of myself and seeing what I can do to help the community in different ways. I am asking my family and friends to help out with this project and they could also spread the word and take this action into effect. January 9th, 2018 My plan for over the break was to go out and ask for cans. I wanted to ask my family and peers. Since I wasnʻt able to get in contact with many of the members of my family, therefore I didnʻt get as much cans as I expected. So what I actually did was go through my cans with my family and getting their permission to donate the cans we have at home. Some changes that I will be making to this plan will be spreading the word through social media so more people will be able to contribute to my plan. I will post my announcement through instagram, snapchat and twitter and ask for any donations. My family will also be a good benefit towards this action. They can also post it through their accounts also. Lastly, since my mother also works at a school I will ask her if she can ask any of her co-workers to donate.
