My project is on loitering and harmful debris all around us and in Hawaii specifically, the ocean. People's trash is one of the most harmful factors when it comes to marine health. Fish aren't the only ones who suffer from this too, coral reefs are also heavily impacted because it drives the inhabitants away from certain areas and destroys the ecosystem. Hawaiʻi being a heavy tourist destination suffers greatly aswell due to beaches being dirty and trash taking away from the beauty that entices travelers to come here. If you think this is bad what do you think these factors do to those who live here?
