The content learned in world history are both valuable and interesting. For example, not only were we taught how to use different editing programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, but the research we did on different figures throughout history was also interesting. For instance, I chose Taizu as my leader and learned how his method of leadership was extremely effective for his kingdom. His methods mainly show him exerting servant leadership. He would even go as far as improve the conditions of a place he was captured at after just seeing the state of the civilians toilets. He was a very kind and generous leader, but extremely humble at the same time.
Two skills that I learned was how to work different editing. For instance, we were taught how to use two Programs, Photoshop and Illustrator. With this knowledge we were to research two leaders, create a board of both, and then do a presentation on how both showed good leadership traits. We needed to not only follow the deadlines given but create personal deadlines for ourselves learned how to work Photoshop and Illustrator. It was fun and interesting to learn how to work the two programs and which one I preferred over the other for certain tools. This project taught me how to use the tools given and how to use them not only properly but efficiently. Both extremely useful skills for future reference. For instance, I can apply this new knowledge to future projects with my peers. This not only applies for school projects but also work projects. In conclusion, the content I learned in this class will benefit me in the future. Some interesting topics learned through the study of the past can still help todays current issues. For example, in this class weʻve learned about many governments that treated their people poorly and the consequences of these actions. We have also learned that how these governments came to be also were built on the unfair and unjust treatment of people. These governments were built on lies and fraud and then continue to use the people as only a quick cash grab and rather than thinking about the safety and growth of their community.
