Yes the skills and content I learned in world history were valuable and interesting. In world history, I learned many things that could help me in the future. One major thing that I learned in world history was how to back up and argue/defend a standpoint. In world history, we learned how to use PEEL paragraphs. PEEL stands for Point Evidence Explanation and Link. The PEEL paragraph can be used in many ways to help you argue your point. We had to write many PEEL paragraphs in world history and I learned to master the PEEL paragraph. I also learned how to speak in an argumentative setting through Socratic Seminars. In a Socratic Seminar, you can ask each other questions and speak your mind. Overall skills and content I learned in world history were valuable and interesting.
