These choices began with colonialism, which has molded the way we live at this point. However, the present world is as yet organized to guarantee influence and abundance develop for the individuals who already have it, to the detriment of individuals in poverty. Colonization ruptured numerous environments, bringing in new organisms while taking out with others. The Europeans carried numerous infections with them that obliterated Native American populaces. Homesteaders and Native Americans the same looked to new plants as conceivable restorative assets. I think this is another cause of poverty. APA Citation: McQuade, J. (2017, September 27). VOX, CEPR Policy Portal. https://voxeu.org/article/economic-impact-colonialism Paragraph 2: Imperialism changes our understanding of these things in History through the lens of our cultural history of language, culture, and activism in the community by showing me that things like imperialism and colonization is the cause of these problems. Problems like poverty. For example, the Americans came to hawaii and took our land and tried to strip us of our culture and remove our language from existence. These kinds of things drives us locals into poverty. Quite possibly the most striking instances of American imperialism in this age was the annexation of Hawaii in 1898. it help us and deters us from navigating for a solution to these problems here in Hawaiʻi because it deters us from navigating for a solution because imperialism was the cause to this problem and we can't change the pass so it helps us because we can now learn from the mistakes in the past to come up with a solution to this problem and fix it in the future. The Industrial Revolution had many positive effects. Among those was an increase in wealth, the production of goods, and the standard of living. People had access to healthier diets, better housing, and cheaper goods. In addition, education increased during the Industrial Revolution. So as you can see, this actually helped "no poverty" and poorer people seen an increase in wealth, health, and well being. We can also look back at past things and see what problems there were and what caused it and we can use that knowledge today to come up with ways to solve it. It is just like trial and error. Learning from the Past for a Better Future – Florida Construction Connection. (n.d.). FLCC. https://www.floridaconstructionconnection.com/learning-past-better-future/ Art can be used to highlight and showcase social concerns in history and modern society because art expresses emotions. Art can be used as a tool to express what is happening in current society and etc. Also art can come in many different forms so ti can be expressed in many different ways. whether that is through acting, poetry, drawing and painting, and many more. Art impacts society by evolving opinions, imparting values and interpreting experiences across reality. Art in this sense is correspondence; it permits individuals from various societies and various occasions to speak with one another through pictures, sounds and stories. Art is frequently a vehicle for social change. The poem below is my own personal poem that I created. I am not that good at making poems but I tried. The thing that I wrote my poem on is the lava rock. The lava rock is one of the most sacred things known to Hawaii. The poem talks about how what the lava rock is and what it knows. The lava rock is the most intelligent and most wise of all. The lava rock has been on our earth since the creation of time and has witnessed everything that has happened so far in this world. That is what my poem says and discusses. It reflects on what is happening in our current society like covid-19 and etc. My poem talks about how the lava rock knows past, present, and future and how with time, everything will get better. Us as humans need to work together and let time do it's thing. APA CITATION:

The most important connection between world history and current event advocacy is that we can learn what and why things are happening in the current world right now based on historical events that have happened in the past. We can understand the present by tracing back to historical events such as debates and etc. I think this is the most important connection between world history and current event advocacy. The past affects the future so everything that happens in the past affects future things. 2. The most impactful concept that I gained through the Rock Your World Curriculum about the importance of media advocacy in how this generation will create solutions to global/worldwide problems is that it is way easier in this time to solve problems and come up with solutions because it is way more easier for everyone to collaborate since we have the media and new technologies. Also, now students have a chance to work together and try and solve problems like how we are doing in class because of new tools like google docs and etc. classrooms are no longer a barrier because technology enables new ways of learning, communicating, and working collaboratively. A couple ways the events of the Silk Road, Exploration, Expansion & Enlightenment impacted The UN goal I chose to study was that Colonization ruptured many ecosystems, bringing in new organisms while eliminating others. The Europeans brought many diseases with them that decimated Native American populations. Changes were caused by a number of factors, including loss of land, disease, enforced laws which violated their culture and much more. This is one of the ways how it impacted poverty. The silk roads was like the beginning of poverty because it created this idea of poverty and the idea of separate classes, for example, the upper class and the lower class. The silk roads was like the beginning of poverty because it created this idea of poverty and the idea of separate classes, for example, the upper class and the lower class. The silk roads generated trade between a number of different empires. But only the upper class could afford it and not the lower class. Also, the silk roads traded slaves to be bought and sold for profit. The slaves were mostly people of color. People of color were forcibly transported from Africa to west indies, Brazil, or other Americas to work on the plantations in European colonies as free labor. This is how the silk roads created the idea of poverty and inequality and this is how it impacted my UN goal of no poverty. APA Citation:
