The leadership skills needed for addressing the “big picture”, I think, is understanding. Doing research and knowing the history of ways poverty was started helps you to understand even more the reason why the people live the way they do, but also helps you look into ways we can help them move onto bigger and better things from where they previously were. Some of the leadership skills needed for addressing the “smaller picture” is initiative, vision, and the ability to inspire others. Initiative is an important leadership that is needed for the purpose of the small pictures because you need to be able to take control of the situation. Initiative also ties in with the ability to inspire others, because if you know what youʻre doing and you lead a certain, it could inspire those that are with you to start doing their own things and take after the leadership skills you possess. Lastly, an important leadership to have is vision. You canʻt go into a project without thinking about what the outcome of it will be, so having vision is important. You need to know what you are trying to accomplish, so going into a project blindly isnʻt a good leadership skill.
