During the Agricultural Revolution, people learned how to plant food and farm. To have a good farm, you need to have certain parameters for different types of farms. Such as climate, terrain, crop type, etc. Something that happened to plants was that insects would use them as food. This would infect a farm with diseases from insects making the farm unusable. But then, pesticides were invented. Pesticides made insects die when used on plants or certain areas. However, pesticides also have a downside. They pollute water. So with that, China and mainly other places in the world use pesticides and that pollutes water. This doesn't help our goal of Clean water and sanitation in China. People farm everywhere not just in China. It's one of humanities main food sources. But water is also essential. So protecting the crops pollutes the water and not using pesticides saves the water but doesn't protect the crops. Musetti, R., & Canvasser, M. (2019, July 30). The Truth About Pesticides. Impacts of the Human Species and factors of the Agricultural Revolution & Agrarian Empires6/16/2020 Our UN Development Goal is clean water and sanitation in China. People that are living in poverty or are homeless, they don't have the luxury of having clean water. They would have to go to streams and rivers that are very polluted. And it's not just them. As I come to see in Hawaiʻi as well, our oceans are polluted with trash and other things. Even our rivers, people don't take care of them. We used to have a good water system and having clean water mainly where ever you went. But now, we don't really have that. And it's not just Hawaiʻi and China either, It's the whole world. I can't even think of a place that has clean water running all throughout. I remember doing a project all these years ago about Flint, Michigan and their tap water. Their water was very polluted that it was almost toxic to drink. Along with rivers and streams in Cleveland, Ohio that's very polluted with trash and sewage that it can catch on fire.
