I think having to work with other people that I may not know as well and getting to know them helped me a lot to open up myself and be more out there. One thing that motivated me to keep going was probably just knowing that others are relying on me to do a task and if I donʻt finish it I might fail them and to me thatʻs a big thing because I donʻt like letting other people down when I could have done something to prevent that situation.

Some leadership traits that are needed to address these concepts would be integrity, kindness and compassion. I believe these traits are necessary because to be a good leader. You need a lot more than just good intentions to meet this standard. You canʻt expect people to just follow you and you donʻt know what youʻre doing or how to do anything.
Integrity is important because you want your people to feel safe and secure. You want your people to trust in you and you want them to know that you are doing what you're doing for them and not just for you. kindness is important because you need to be able to have an open heart and an open mind to different people and their situation so that you can better understand how to go about a problem and fix it. And lastly compassion is important because you need to have that kind of openness and understanding of people and where they come from and their situation in order to know how to go about certain situations and a way that you can do that by getting to know the people and not just doing things for yourself. We emailed a bunch of different organizations but none had openings/responded to us so our last option was Lanakila Meals on Wheels. We didnʻt get to do the community service because the organization had only just recently gotten back to us so we are communicating with the person to set a date that is good for the whole group to make it there and participate. One thing that went well is that these organizations were open to us and willing to give us this opportunity to help out. Another thing that went well was the whole group being able to communicate effectively. We could have tried reaching out a little earlier to get the assignment done but we understand that they are busy people and have more important things to worry about. I believe so because nowadays, I am more understanding of what people do with their lives and how they choose to live or if theyʻre put into that impoverished state. I do believe that my understanding of people is a leadership trait because you need to be able to have an open mind when youʻre dealing with other people. I canʻt give an example at this moment because we have not gone to the facility yet but I believe this skill will be helpful in that scenario because we will be dealing with all kinds of different people. Thoughts without content are empty, intuitions without concepts are blind. - Immanuel Kant. We are going out into the community with a purpose to help others and their needs. A right heart exceeds all. - Benjamin Franklin. If we do things with the right intentions, we will get the right outcomes for the most part. It is not enough to have a good mind, the main thing is to use it well. - Rene Descartes. I believe that if my mind is in the right place, the rest of me will follow and make the right decisions. No manʻs knowledge can go beyond his experience. - John Locke. For me I need to present to learn things so if I get to experience what I need to learn about then I will be further along than just reading about it in books. (Click the button at the top for more information.) Europe had the most advantage during the industrial revolution to become the most dominant civilization because of their location, available resources, money and ideas. Their location was a big factor in the revolution because they were basically living on a bed of coal. Coal, being one of their main resources, gave way for them to invent new things that would ultimately make life a lot easier for them. But since there was so much flooding in these mines of coal, the steam engine was created to not only act as another resource but to get coal more efficiently. In order to make these ideas and inventions come together, they needed money but in Europe, taxes were always so expensive that only very people got to put their ideas into actual things. It impacts the issue because when you create more things that basically does the job for someone, you are taking away that personʻs job and sometimes that's all they have to depend on. I'm not sure that the world learned everything that could be learned from those situations. I believe that there are still some things that are still left to be said and done. It should still be dealt with even till this day.
