This mini-project allowed us to critically analyze the similarities and differences between the Spanish Empire back then and the Spanish Empire now, or what is more commonly known as the nation of Spain. We were able to present our research and new findings by using skills we have recently acquired in Photoshop and Illustrator to create a poster. Throughout our presentation you will notice the same background being used, with the left picture representing the Spanish Empire and the right picture representing Spain today. Dustin Kealoha compared the leadership, values, and political system of the Spanish Empire and Spain. He found that although their leadership and political system has changed, evolved, and adapted over the years, their religious values have remained the same throughout history and up to the present. Furthermore, Kainalu Cox compared their technology and current issues according to the UN Development goal. He also discovered that their technology has drastically changed overtime, most likely due to advanced innovation, while their current issues continue to include diseases and illnesses but they have also added global climate change to the top of the list. In addition, Keaheolauniu Lopez compared the geography and economic systems of the two. He learned that both concepts have changed over the years and some of them are in quite distinctive ways, while others are a little less obvious. Lastly, more information about AJ Coleman's slide and research is to come.
