In my group, I had Emma, Xhayeani, and Grace. We covered Health and Well-Being. We focused on the impacts of COVID-19 here in Hawaiʻi. To really get our point across about the importance of staying safe, we incorporated statistics. With our PSA, we hope to get everyone to do their part in keeping us all safe during this pandemic and new 'normal'. The slogan in our video was "Stick to your task, Wear your mask". This is a reminder to do your part and keep yourself safe, as well as those around you. I had a very good experience with this collaborative project. We worked together well and had minor issues, which ended up being smoothed out. Our video did not get submitted to the Planet911 Competition because as a group. On a 2nd try, I would definitely make sure that my groups communication is strong with each other because that's what makes a collaborative project work. |

In my group I had Neshae, Ikaika, and Jayna. We focused on ocean pollution in the Hawaiian islands and the slogan my group had was “oceans are getting sicker so lets do something quicker!” The overall experience or working on the group project was a good one. We all worked well with eachother and bounced ideas around and split the work up equally. For example I created the slogan, and did some research and the rest of the work was split up like who made the video, did more research, etcetera. Our video got submitted to the Planet911 competition because everyones video did. I dont think we made it that far into the rankings though. On our next try I would like to improve our video quality and give more effort than we did this time. |

In my group I had Kauanoe, Kahi, and Michael. The topic we decided to do was about Air Pollution. The message we were proposing or focusing on was the facts, the details, and the effects of Air Pollution in the world and in Hawaiʻi. We wanted to show the deep details and dangers about Air Pollution, so to do that we stated statistics and number facts in the PSA. Our slogan was Just Do It! The reason why we wanted to make this our slogan is because we wanted people to forget about the mistakes and failures when making a change and do JUST DO IT! While working on this project with my peers and collaborating with them I had a great time sharing and learning with each other and bouncing ideas off of each other. We did hit some bumps in the road along the way but we overcame them together and we finished strong. Our video did get submitted to the Planet911 competition because every video got submitted but, I think that our video did not go far and did not do that well. If we got a second chance, I would improve it by having better quality videos, putting more pictures and stats, and putting a little bit more effort into making it a good PSA. |

So the people within my group were Jayce, Treusen, and Dakota and our topic was on poverty and how it affects people. The slogan for our group was: Aʻole hiki i kahi ke ulu inā loaʻa kona ʻilihune! Hana i kahi hana lākou; kōkua iākou. (A nation cannot develop if it has poverty! Do a good deed, help someone in need. Don’t ignore people, just because they are poor; help them.) My experience on this project was good; everyone played their parts within it. I do think that everyone's videos were smited to the 911 comptishen and it did not do good at all but for next time it should have been longer than it was. |
