Todays vlog will be about my the industrial revolution and what happend during it. The industrial revolution began in the 18th century in Europe. During this time many things were created and many jobs were automized or made easier by machinery. This also brought along new types of energy sources such as steam power. Many good things came out of the industrial revolution. For example, things such as making closes were made a-lot easier because of coal energy, and transportation was made easier and faster due to trains and steam energy. But this also came with its downfalls. One of these being pollution and an increase in population. In conclusion, the industrial revolution was one of the most important times in history and without it, we would not have a-lot of the things that we have today. This assignment was about The agricultural revolution, the scientific revolution and what they achieved during those times. The first agricultural revolution began in the 10,000 BC. During this time food was revolutionized, or at least the way that food was obtained. Some people were still hunter gatherers, but others decided to become foragers. This basically meant that they found their food instead of hunting it down. This meant that they would eat dead animals and eat plants. Although this may seem gross, it was alot better for them. In fact, they had much healthier bones and teeth, they also had much more free time. This all lead up to argriculture. Eventually, they began to bring back seeds from their foraged plants and planted them. They began to farm . They also began to domesticate animals. This lead to many advantages such as more consistent food and larger civilizations. This was also a bad thing though since more people meant more food needed to be grown.
The scientific revolution was started in the 1500's. During this time many people began to learn more about, astronomy, math and science. Before the scientific revolution, everyone thought that all planets rotated around the earth and thought that we were the center of everything. It was also said that this was the work of God and anyone that dared to try and prove it wrong was against God. Well, people began to search for more answers and eventually figured out the solar system that we know today. |
