In my opinion, the skills and content learned in World Histoy were very valuable. This class taught us skills that we can and will eventually use in our everyday lives. For example, we learned how to use photoshop, we learned how to use adobe illustrator, and we learned how to write and structure a good PEEL paragraph. I believe these skills could be useful, and applied in college, in your career, or even just a normal day at home. I believe PEEL paragraphs give you a chance to dig deeper into a topic, photoshop and adobe illustrator gives you the opportunity to explore media platforms and share your creativity with the world. World history taught us valuable life lessons we can use in the future.
The kahiau project connects skills with current day issues such as the malthusian flux theory. The malthusian flux theory is something that stuck out the most to me. A short explanation is basically when the population gets too high, either famine, war, or disease sets in to balance it again. What I found most interesting thing about this is, how the world just does this by itself, itʻs like a neverending loop needed to create balance in the world. I feel that this Malthusian flux theory will always be current no matter what because in my opinion, only the universe has control of balancing itself and i feel that will always be present, and this goes to show one way how the kahiau project connects skills with current issues.
