It can be argued that skills and content learned in World History this year were very valuable and interesting. For example, the best thing I learned to do this year was triangulation. We mostly used triangulation in the lead up to socratives and that really catapulted my questions to being very good because I was able to collect the evidence to my question and come up with a good response that got me more points. Another skill that helped me was using the different vocab to make my peels better quality.
Some of the most interesting topics I thought we learned this year was WW1 and WW2. These have always been huge interests to me regarding history, but I never knew much about them. Digging in depth with the flipped lectures helped me understand more the small facts and ideas about the wars. My favorite movie we watched was Schindler's List. It greatly improved my knowledge about the treatment of Jews in the Holocaust and really helped me know more about how the Nazi's operated. It gave me a great sense of fear, but also the idea that small things can change your opinion and mindset.
