Winter BreakOver this winter break I went a trip to California then drove 4 hours to Las Vegas. In California I went to the Wax Museum and took pictures with statues like Eddie Murphy, Jonny Depp, and Tom Cruise. I also walked the walk of fame and saw stars like Keanu Reeves, Queen, and none other than our president Donald Trump. Went to the Santa Monica pier and somebody put up the flags of different countries including the states. In Vegas we went to Dumont Dunes which was on government shutdown so instead of paying 40 buck we paid 0. What I think of Homelessness in Hawaii and how it affects me.Homelessness is a problem not only in Hawaii but in other countries too. I think that what the Hawaii Food Bank is doing is great. Feeding the homeless is awesome because they starve everyday begging for money to eat. If I see a homeless person I will definitely give them 5 bucks when Iʻm older not now because I donʻt have money. I can feel for the homeless because sometimes at my Moms place we struggle for money and canʻt buy food until she gets paid. One time my mom got $2000 sloten from her account so we had to wait until the bank gave her money to go shopping for food. How colonization has affected the homelessness in Hawaii.Colonization affected the Hawaiians because all this real estate that businessmen want to build on keep rising to the point where Hawaiians cant buy a house. This is ridiculous because Hawaiians are supposed to be able to live in their own land but they cannot because of the prices. This has caused the homeless ti increase more and more. Imperalism and Globilzation how it affects worldAmerica colonized Hawaiʻi and because of this CapitalismCapitalism has affected homelessness not only in Hawaii but in the world because it is based on how imaginative you are. Most people who are not smart become homeless and live in poverty because they arenʻt smart enough to be able to work. That is what happens in a capitalist society because those who arenʻt smart cant work only those with the right mindset.
