Our topic is helping out the aquatic ecosystems of Hawaiʻi, and we do this to ensure everyone that wai (water) is important and we encourage that onto the rest of the world. We will do this by helping out Paepae o Heʻeia is restoring it's fishpond to bring it back to it's normal state This project is about helping the life in the ocean, more importantly a fishpond's ecosystem. More importantly, Oʻahu's own Paepae o Heʻeia is a fishpond that we decided to focus on. We believe it is important to help out the ecosystem so that we can perpetuate what our ancestors have given us. We can not let this culture of ours die so we can let it live on by perpetuate it through traditions.
