It can be seen that the content we learned this year is valuable because we can see through the mistakes of the world wars that history never fails to repeat itself unless generations make a change. 2 new skills I learned in this class are how to make PEEL paragraphs and triangulation. In photoshop, I enjoyed learning how to take one object from a photo and pairing it with another photos background. In illustrator I liked learning how to do fine details and cleaning up photos to my liking. I would use these resources in the future. Some interesting topics that we learned this year were the crusades. I liked this because I didnʻt fully know what the purpose of the crusades were and why it was such an intrical part to Europes history. I also didnʻt fully understand the meaning behind the symbols and important people of the crusades which I now know. The Kahiau project connects what we learned to current day issues because it allows us to organize the issues into topics which we can easily relate to issues in the past. This makes it more engaging because with these topics we can further relate issues to other things such as problems in Hawaiʻi.
