“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."
“We cannot command nature except by obeying her.” “The world would be happier if men had the same capacity to be silent that they have to speak..” “It is not enough to have a good mind, the main thing is to use it well.” The factors that have impacted our leadership growth the most this semester was one of our leaders that we had. We looked at their traits and what they did so we just took that and was able to apply that to our leadership growth. We were able to recognize the key factors that the leaders had. They helped us to be able to show our leadership growth because the leaders before us showed great skill. Our motivation was basically since our leader had done this in the past, why can’t we do the simple things in the present. We use this as motivation to be able to have a better mindset on our leader. We have to realize that we should be able to have our leader in a better mindset and make sure that we are able to apply this in modern day society. 2 propelling factors that occurred during the Era of expansion, exchange, and colonization was coal and iron. Coal and iron powered the this period the most. The country that had it best was england, and that’s why they are credited with starting this period. The British had coal and iron, but so did china, however the british's coal was closer to the surface than China's supply. They had better access to coal, which leads to using coal to sell, to get more coal, to the power trains, to then get more coal, to make machines to mine and produce iron to in return get more coal. They basically got lucky, and were able to get coal and use it to build off itself and get more coal. This affects Hawaii, because we have barely any of these two resources, meaning we couldn’t start the revolution. Also, this means we could never produce this on our own and we have to import everything. 2 propelling factors that happened and most greatly impact your project as a result of the Era of Imperialization are high resources, and low people. There was a lot of fish during this time, and very little people. However, since there was less people, here was very high wages, meaning you get paid more since you don't have to share the wages as much. That was the only good thing about this period of industrialization However, the more you produce, the more you get paid, so this started over fishing. Fisherman didn’t want all the fish, and didn’t plan on eating it themselves. But they planned on selling it to others. They got got greedy and decided to make as much money as possible. Niklaus, R.
