My overall opinion about the french revolution is that it was very unfair and the people in power were selfish. There were such little resources such as food, water, and not a lot of access to books and learning opportunities that weren't taxed. I think this relates to my Kahiau Project there are not enough people trying to create resources to help do beach cleanups and to learn about ways you can help prevent waste that gets into the ocean. During the pandemic there was a shortage of masks for the for everyone, and all of the waste from the masks went into the streets and oceans and polluted them even more. I am going to try my best with my club, Save the Seas to create a website and social media to have an easy access to all of this information and hopefully make change for the better. While learning about World History, I find myself always comparing to things that I have learned about in the past about Hawaiʻi. Many of the things connect to Hawaiʻi, or simply the same thing happened to us. I can take what I learned about language, culture, and activism help me to navigate a solution for the problems here in Hawaiʻi. I can use what I learn in this class to have an impactful role in making a change here in Hawaiʻi to better our people and our culture. Citations:
