I believe that the world did but didn’t learn a lesson from the War to End All Wars. Also known as The Great War it is known for being the war that lost or wounded so many soldiers. I think that it influenced leaders and the people that war is not the answer and that it only causes more problems than solving them. But Modern Warfare is still a thing that is happening and many people are still losing their lives. Along with New Technology that further improves warfare, the problem is not going to be solved. As a result of the Great War, different countries have come up with ways to improve their country’s power. One example is the U.S taking over the Hawaiʻi islands. It’s in such a perfect spot in the ocean and if any military power is needed Hawaiʻi has some of it. It ties into my Kahiau Project because within the introduction of the U.S. to the islands, many environmental issues have propped up. Some are the introduction of all these materials that pollute the land and the Earth itself.
I do agree that the world is indeed a victim of Malthusian Flux. With the constant growth of the human race taking control of the planet, New Energies and New Resources become more needed. With more humans, more of these things are needed to be produced. When it runs low or on the verge of running out, it becomes a hassle to keep it in business. It sometimes can put humans in dangerous spots, food shortages, starvation, many things like that. There’s been commercial’s that talk about the starving children around the world. Then businesses that get affected by this happens on a globalization scale. In some places, this seems to become a Normalization.
