Itʻs been about a week and not much has happened since the last update. But weʻre going to call Special Olympics soon and get in touch with them about getting shirts for a lower and better price. But weʻre still in the process of making our final lists of volunteers for the camp. We sent out the emails to people asking for volunteers and not much has gotten back to us but we still have a little time.

There hasnʻt been that much change within our Warriors For Change project. But weʻve got in contact with Special Olympics and theyʻve emailed us for us to call them next week as a group. So that we can talk about getting shirts for a better price, rather then trying to get it on our own through another business. Weʻre also on the path to getting our volunteers list. Things are going well, everything is going as planned but we still need to get a lot of things finalized.
My name is Hayley Silipa and Iʻve been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. Iʻve also been playing for Kamehamehaʻs soccer team since i was in the 7th grade. I was born and raised in Nānākuli and I am the oldest of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls. This project gives me the chance to be the change that I wish to see in the world, and to also give back to my community.
