The silk road, exploration, expansion and enlightenment events have effected the UN goal for our kahiau project in many ways. One way that I think it impacted climate change is by changing the way we travel and transport goods. Now that everyone uses cars or another type of transportation that uses gasoline the climate is becoming very unhealthy. The pollution is thinning the ozone layer which is causing many problems in the world today. Climate change is happening right in front of us and if we donʻt do anything about it the world will experience very difficult challenges. Nowadays, all around the world, barely anybody grows their own crops. Since people donʻt grow their own food, they need to get it delivered or they need to buy it from the store. Not only is food from the store more unhealthy than if you were to just grow your own food. But, it also means that trucks, boats, and planes need to transport the food which causes a lot of pollution. Once, again if the world doesn't make a change for the better, it will make a change for the worse.
