I think that our project was very good. We helped the community by cleaning up parks and donating to cancer. I think that although our efforts will probably go unnoticed by many people and others may reverse our effects by littering more, we still impacted the community just a little. This relates to being a global citizen because we were cleaning the environment for everyone else to use and donating to a disease that could infect anyone. I feel very strongly about keeping our ʻaina clean, this connects to the plastic bag ban and the group that opposes it. Leaving trash around really affects everyone and everything. By just picking up those small pieces of trash, you make the world that much cleaner.
