Factors that I feel can lead to a war are Economical gain, territorial gain, religion, and imperialism. I think economical and territorial gain are pretty self explanatory because countries always want to expand their territory and gain more money. More money means they can build upon what they already have and improve things such as their amount of food, their buildings, and their army. If countries believe in different religions it could cause conflict and begin war. The Treaty of Versailles was the most important document of the 20th century because of the fact that it did as the most important of the peace treaties that brought World War I to an end. The treaty required Germany to disarm, make ample territorial concessions, and pay reparations to certain countries that had formed the Entente powers. This benefited world peace for a 20 year time period until then WW2 began. But this treaty made the killings and death and this also caused Hawaiʻi to become a territory of the US. My biggest takeaway from the presentation was the power of manipulation and isolation. It specifically helped the Germans and Japanese to expand their land and become better empires. The treaty of Versailles set up the world for WW2 was because The Treaty set the stage for World War II in many ways. To demonstrate, this peace settlement blamed Germany for most things including starting the war and Germany was angry causing Germany to get back at them. Hitler promised all the Germans that he would improve the country if they voted him the ruler. It also impacted geography because Germany lost all of its land and resources which caused the revengeful outbreak. The pacific and Hawaii were called dips upon the US and other outer islands were territorialized by other countries.
