I think that the point of using their knowledge to help create things that could potentially kill many does not make sense but at the same time it does. When you look at it in their lenses you can see that they did this to help them in world wars and utilize them for future occurrences. It also does not make sense to how they would use their knowledge to create a destructive weapon because they could possibly kill themselves and many others if they made a mistake. This impacts my modern Kahiau issue at a global level because there have been many protests that included using weapons that caused more violence in the past but as we learn from the past we also know that now in our modern age violence is not needed to make a clear statement that would be heard. It impacts globally because people around the world have many different views on this and some might say that violence is the only way for people to notice what you want to say. Nowadays people hold signs, walks, speech, etc, to help get their point across and many have succeeded in this form. "We may never be strong enough to be entirely nonviolent in thought, word and deed. But we must keep nonviolence as our goal and make strong progress towards it." -Gandhi. This quote from Gandhi further explains the point of non violence to get your point heard.
