The most important connection between world history and current event advocacy is that whatever is happening in our current time right now will become important history one day. Knowing our current events now will also help us be able to face problems that we may see later on in life that we built skills for in this current time. Knowing more about current events we can also reflect on how we acted as a people and how we can be better. Advocating current events is very important because many people only see the main things in the world like coronavirus but forget about all of the poverty it is causing and loss of jobs so we can also spread awareness for that so that it turns into history and stops. Media advocacy in this generation is so important because there are so many ways we can spread the word and there is just an endless number of ways to spread the word. And also in a time like today where there are so many things going on we can use certain things to get people’s attention like connecting the virus to how it affects the problems in today’s life. We can help solve problems because our voice is especially important because we are the youth growing up in these crazy times. We must use our voice because every voice matters. Kaul, G.
