The most important connection between World History and current event advocacy is that it is actual news that is happening in the world. Also, that it impacts the rest of the world and how we act. From occurring events it affects how we act upon them. We could either learn about what happened and try to prevent it from happening again or just donʻt and sit and wait for it to eventually happens again because history does repeat itself. From that quote, we have to decide is that a good or bad thing. I feel like the most impactful idea that iʻve gained through the “Rock Your World” curriculum is first, the fact that I know that we are able to make a difference. That feeling alone is one of the best feelings because we are able to help those who really canʻt help themselves. Now our topic is gender equality, and I feel like that topic is really important because still today there is gender inequality. I thought we got past that but no we are still struggling with it. There’s no equal pay or equal rights and that needs to change. Works Cited:
