I believe that both World History and Current Event Advocacy are important but, a majority of Current event advocacy comes from the past of world history. Theres the saying we can learn from our mistakes and the past or the World history is something we can learn from. We can see how or if they handled the problem in the past and see where we can build off from that and try to advocate ourselves for the solution. One thing I learned from RYWC is that our voices can be heard. Our generation is strong and through each other we can advocate and fight for a word we want to live in. They also taught us even us kanaka of Hawai’i can have a voice and advocate for ourselves. If we come together we can create any solution for any problem.
