The Silk Road was a network of trading that connected East and West China along with Europe. It is where people from different empires, kingdom, and cultures traded things that were normal for them but essential for others. The Silk Road opened a world of trading and introduced the idea of adapting to other cultures. The people from various kingdoms and empires were able to share each other their way of living and change the way they would look at life through the lenses of different cultures along with theirs. The Silk Road was the beginning of an evolution that would impact not only the lives of China and Europe but, the whole world. The Silk Road, Exploration, Expansion, and Enlightenment has greatly impacted the way I live my life down the type of clothes I wear and although it doesn't affect my Kahiau project directly, the Silk Road did have a great impact on the way we live. My kahiau project focuses more on the Mental Health of our youth along with the older generations and this silk road introduced ideas of adapting. However, adapting isn't as easy as it seems. Many mental health problems this year alone came from trying to adapt this Worldwide pandemic and it was very difficult. Everything, one by one, getting taken away from you. The mental Health aspect was effected heavily coming from all ages. But, thanks to the Silk Road, the idea that we can adapt to our circumstance and change the way we live is possible and attainable which is something that we are trying to share with the world.
