In 1914, world war one was meant to be the “War to end all wars”. Although at the time this may have seemed true, this war did not end the fighting. During the time of the war, the industrial revolution and scientific revolution were taking place. Due to this, there was an influx of new technology and inventions. Eventually, modern warfare in addition to new energies were created which made fighting easier for nations with the use of automatic guns, and cannons. As a result of these new technologies, world war became known as “The Great War”. Although this war was meant to be an end to violence it did not. This is because after the attack on Poland by Adolf Hitler, the peace treaty created between nations was broken. Eventually, this influenced the forming of alliances and a deadly war.
The malthusian flux was created by philosopher Thomas malthus. Today in the present world, we are a victim of the malthusian flux. Today in the world we see this because of limiting factors that will inevitably control population. For example, as humans begin to reproduce quicker, eventually there will be more people in the world the world then there will be resources. Due to this, the population will stay under control due to these natural limiting factors.
