The leadership skills you need to execute the big picture is simple. The traits you need for this big job is to do what you say you're going to do, listen to the people and do not be selfish. You need to be someone who people look up to and do things well so that they will want to re-elect you. For example don't be Donald Trump, he is selfish and is so bad at his job he might get impeached because the people don't like him. Be like Barack Obama because he got re-elected so he was doing something right.
The leadership skills you need to execute the small picture is the same as what you need to execute the big picture. In Hawaiʻi we want leaders that actually do what they promise and interact with the community. We want them to be loyal and definitely not selfish. For example be like my district senator Jarrett Keohakaloe who everyone loves. One reason we love him is he fixed a major traffic problem and it really helps.

We planned to ask the Holy Trinity Catholic Church if they were serving homeless food for the holidays. We called them after Founders day and they never got back to us. We ended up doing our own service to the community. What I did was after I was done eating Chinese I saw a homeless lady and me and my aunty offered her food but she declined because she ate already. Jaymison helped the salvation army, Ocean was sick, Duke fed a homeless guy at McDonald's.
Nothing went well for us. The church didn't call us back and we didn't think about calling other places. We did help the community somewhat though. Something that could have gone better is the church could have called back. If they did that would've been great. What we might do now is call the church again and if they don't answer then we will call other places that actually give homeless food. I think that my understanding of the UN issues is improving. The more I look around the more I see what the UN is talking about. In Hawai'i there is a lot of homeless who are probably hungry. |
