These 6 weeks have been very stressful and hard for me. I feel like there was a lot of work, but the quality of my work definitely improved. The workload pushed me to get better, from these Vlogs to Cornell Notes. The online schooling situation was not the best for group projects and getting help, but we overcame these. I learned more about independence and communication. Ultimately, this class taught me about the value of leadership and how to apply it to the community here in Hawaii.
This vlog is about Hawaii and our relation to the US. Hawaiians are seen as "under" the US rule. This is ultimately true, but the Hawaiian people must still become good leaders to impact our community. Getting your voice heard or becoming a face for the community to turn to is a good way for the Hawaiians to help their Lahui. Especially if you get an education. such as mine (Kamehameha), then you should go a lot further since you know what is happening in the Hawaiian communities.
This past weekend was America's Independence Day. In class, we learned about WW1 and WW2 and the influence that the US had on these wars. How did they become an incredibly dominant country? How did the US turn the tides of WW2? And how do leaders impact the image of their country? This is how the US is an important country in the world.
The Treaty of Versailles was written between the end of WW1 and the beginning of WW2. After losing the first world war, Germany was upset about the unfairness of the treaty. This treaty ended up sparking the start of WW2, and the treaty can even relate to poverty in this current day.
