Without a doubt, the Treaty of Versailles was the most important political document of the 20th century. The Treaty of Versailles was the peace treaty that ended World War I. This war went on for four years until it came to an end in 1918. The Big Four were in charge of the negotiations of the treaty which proved Hegemonic over the world . This was the United States, Great Britain, France, and Italy. This treaty’s globalization impacted Germany the most.
Germany’s population and territory was decreased by 10% due to their geography. Germany was forced to take the damage and blame for anything there was to be blamed for. The Big Four wanted to know for a fact that Germany would never be a military threat to any of the other armies around the world. The army of Germany was only allowed 100,000 men and they were put to a halt on their manufacturing in factories changing their new resources and new energy. Germans were upset because they believed the treaty was only dictated to them. Then came the rise of Adolf Hitler which drastically affected the world leading to World War II. With his discrimination of the Jews controlled the world. Which limited their free-thinking.
