Women throughout history have hardly been given equal or similar treatment and chances to that of a man. The case is also the same for the French Revolution. Women were very confined and restricted as to what they were allowed to do. Yet women were eager to break out of this barrier and voice their opinions. Though during the Industrial Age, sparked a wave of feminism that was before unknown by the world. Somewhat socialist ideologies and values were spreading widely, causing more and more women to join men dominated occupations and begin to fight for equal rights. It was also during the Industrial Age that women throughout many countries were allowed the right to vote. Which was a huge advancement at the time to gender equality. Overall the events that occurred during the Industrial Age brought about many improvements in gender equality. Being aware of the history of the world is extremely beneficial. We're able to see how past events have affected society. Things that could work and things that couldn't. From past societies of our world, we are able to see a plethora of things that have benefited gender equality. While we have also seen things that made many drawbacks in the fight for gender equality. For example, we've seen how laws like the Educational Equity Act and the 19th Amendment.
