Colonization sets up and impact my Kahiau Project topic, which focus on gender equality and homelessness. It impacts this topic because colonization is about domination and power and the whole reason gender inequality is an issue is because of someone having more resources or opportunities than the other. It is said that in low income countries, for every hundred boys who continue their education after high school, only fifty-five girls do the same. This shows that since men are most likely to have more education than girls this gives them the opportunity to gain more power. Getting good education allows you to get a good job and since it's not as easy for girls to get an education at is is for boys, it allows the men to dominate. Macmillan, P.
