In my opinion, the three hot spots of the cold war were Vietnam, Korea, and Cuba; overall in these three places, traumatic events occurred all because of the push of anti-communism. In Vietnam there was a massive amount of deaths because at the time the United States was not under ethical leadership; the democratic filled congress chose to not live to the word of the United States and as result people died because of it. Now in Korea, the Korean war that was forgotten however in this case communism was trying to be spread by North Korea and China. In this war once again thousands of people died all because of the whole socialism, communism, capitalism reck. Now last but not least was Cuba who was affected by the development of this modern warfare from the United States who believed strictly in capitalism. Overall during the cold war, many were affected and it was all due to the rise of different ways of living.
Connecting back to my project none of the wars ever ended, World War I didn't and neither did the war to end all wars. The cold war brought about things such as poverty and some forms of living even pushed it more than others. Systems such as capitalism did set up the native people only because this way of living forces the people to leave their culture in order to make a living to support our family. These systems force kanaka to leave their native identity at the door and work in other professions. because nowadays we cannot survive just off of gardening and trading, we have to work in order to pay for our land and food.
