The world did not learn from the war to end all wars; it instead lead to the rise of modern warfare. This new idea of modern warfare brought new resources to the table. People were developing more ways to kill their enemies. Aside from this the war lead to the death of many people and the transfer of diseases. However aside from this The Great War impacts our kahiau project as a result of the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty placed the blame all on Russia and since then the economy there has never been the same. This treaty leads to the discriminating acts done by other countries to Russia; Russia was cut off from things like trade. Although the economy in the city has become stronger over the past years, life in the country is still filled with poverty.
I agree that the Malthusian Flux Theory appears today in our modern world. We see it especially today in Hawaiʻi with the overpopulation of this island many people live in poverty. Our native people are living on the streets causing a loss in pride of culture and just plain indecency. We are slowly gaining back our once lost our native identity. However, on the other hand, we do owe some of the credit to both imperialism and colonization which both lead to poverty in general. Works Cited: Akana, M. (2020).
