During class, we finally picked out a date for the can drive and when we plan to drop off the goods at Hawaii Food Bank. We decided that it will be from March 13-24, which is the first week of Spring Break and the week before that. Then, we plan to give all of the items some time during the second week of Spring Break. Picking out a date also means, I was able to finally finish the flyer with all of our information on it. We were able to post it onto our group website, so that people can have access to it.

I worked on figuring out what days we should hold the drive to collect the goods. We planned to make it a two week period where people can give us cans and then once we get everything organized, we can give it to Hawaii Food Bank. It's planned to be around the end of February, so that we have time to gather data and other info we need before donating what we collected. We also worked on editing our group blog site with more info for people to read about.
Since I was on a field trip, I missed class time to work on the project with my group. So, I worked on finishing the flyer we plan to give out for information. Once we finalize it, we can start printing it out and giving it to our family and friends. I also worked on altering my website and changing it to the exact way I want it. I am trying to add pictures and other features to make it better and unique.
Today during class, my group and I worked on planning the dates of our project and how we are going to organize it. We also decided that instead of going through the process of contacting the school to get it approved, we are just going to collect from family and friends in our communities. Another thing I worked on personally for the project is creating a flyer that we can give out to people with info on our canned food drive. I thought it would be a good idea to not only tell people about the drive but also give them a hard copy of what exactly we plan to do.
