Today during class, my group and I decided that the easiest way to donate the canned goods is to do it separately. Since the Hawaii Food Bank warehouse is closed on weekends and it closes at 4pm on weekdays, we won't be able to go together as a group. On the website, they said that another option was that you can drop off the foods at your local Napa Auto parts, Hard Rock Cafe, or Ruby Tuesday's. This will probably be how we will complete our project. We are going to try and donate them by next week Friday.
After coming back from Spring Break, my group decided that we would push back the dates of the can drive by two weeks. This would allow us more time to collect and also to discuss in person what are plans are. Since we mad changes, we edited the flyer and the website to show more accurate information. We also came up with a goal of about 50 total cans. The goal isn't definite, but is at least a starting point since we don't know exactly how to gage the pounds of cans.
