The leadership skills that are needed to execute these things are responsibility and patience. These things take time to execute. Keeping an open mind and being flexible as well is key to making things work. One example, is like going down to the middle school and sharing our ideas with them which is one step I know we are already about to take moving forward. Although it's only executing the idea in our school, everyone who hears us out will have the power to share our ideas too.
Another thing is the weebly websites. The weebly websites are free for anyone to look at however, the main thing is getting the word out that there is a website. Uploading our research and everything really helps to track our progress which is another leadership skill also known as organization.

This semester my leadership growth was mostly impacted by volleyball. I became one of the bigger roles on both my club and school team. This came with bigger responsibilities and at first it is very nerve wracking but as I started doing it more I got more used to it. I helped my teammates by pushing and encouraging them in everything we do whether itʻs on the court, on the track or in the weight room. But this has impacted my actions outside of sports because I am able to put myself in others' shoes and be more understanding with other peoples situations or problems.
The thing that mostly impacted my intrinsic motivation this semester was my mindset. My mindset is more of a growth mindset. Freshman year I was not motivated, I didnʻt do my work with 100% effort and you could see it in my grades. However, this year I know in my head I can do good and so I push myself to be great. You can also see that in my grades this year. I went from Bʻs and Cʻs to mostly Aʻs and maybe one B. The plan for the community service was to attend a food drive for non profit organization such as Meals on Wheels. This non-profit is to help deliver meals to elderly people who do not have the ability to make or get their own meals by themselves. What ended up happening with the planned community service over the winter break was it was rearranged due to everyone’s busy schedule. Nothing really went well because we didnʻt get to do it. What could have gone better for the project was to actually come together as a group and do what was planned. However, due to each of our different schedules we werenʻt able to find a day that would allow us to carry out our plan. Yes, because although we were not able to actually do the community service, making the plan itself informed us about what non-profits such as Meals on Wheels do to help people who deal with hunger. We also learned more of the seriousness of this issue and also what are some ways we would be able to help. Our connection/application of leadership skills is expanding as a result of what we’re doing in the Kahiau Project because we’ve made a plan on how we could help our communities through acts of kindness. However, it couldn’t be executed because of everyone’s busy schedules during the winter break.
