World history is a branch of history that looks at the past from a global perspective. Current affairs are one of the factors that affect world history. Current events are relevant because they keep us updated on what is going on in the world. Many occurrences repeat themselves throughout history, and we are mostly unaware of them. We might make a difference by evaluating and lobbying for a current event that we study.
