My group's UN goal is to discuss and acknowledge poverty and homelessness between teens in Hawaii. We settled on this topic because we to are teens going through the same schooling process and etc. However, we know that their life is much harder than ours so we feel more sympathy towards them. Our bigger goal is to encourage people to not think of those less fortunate as outsiders and include them. We want to make help available and be there for our fellow students.
I would like to think of the silk roads and the expansion as the very first baby steps of social classes and a hierarchy. People would put all their belongings and even their life on the line in hope of making money and maintaining business, via the silk roads. The lower class would be out marketed by the incoming traders and barely make enough to live. -Pk Selhorst
