This week I sold 4 tickets. Our group is actively selling tickets individually, and we will continue selling throughout these next few weeks. Our project relates to global citizenship because we are bringing change to the bigger community. This project allows other people to help our cause and help animals in need. By buying our tickets, people have a way to help make change for the better.

This week, we brought our money to school and gave it to Victoria so that she could buy the fundraising tickets from Jamba Juice. We all have 20 tickets each that we bought for $5 per ticket. The tickets are to be sold for $10 each. I have only sold one ticket so far, but there are a lot of people interested in purchasing tickets. I am planning on continuing to sell the tickets to my friends, and I will sell to my family and friends outside of school if I need to.
Update #4:
This week we finally settled on an idea to fundraise for Poi Dogs & Popoki. We decided to work with Jamba Juice or Zippyʻs through their fundraising programs. We will purchase coupon cards from Jamba Juice or Zippyʻs and then sell those coupons for a higher price to our family and friends to raise money. We are currently in the process of sorting out the details of the fundraising application with the help of Poi Dogs & Popoki associates, so that we can begin to purchase and sell the fundraising coupons. |
