The treaty of Versailles happened in June of 1919. Itʻs considered as the most important political document of the 20th Century because it helped stop WWI. It was a treaty that brought peace among many and saved many lives. The treaty required Germany to disarm, make ample territorial concessions, and pay reparations to certain countries that had formed the Entente powers. How it happened was that the peace document was signed at the end of World War I by the Allied and associated powers and by Germany in the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles and France. How did the Treaty of Versailles set up the world for War the 2nd time and explain how the treaty impacted geography & especially the Pacific & Hawaiʻi? Treaty of Versailles set up the world for War the 2nd time by impacting many areas, especially and personally the Pacific Islands. Being in the middle of the Pacific, weʻve basically become a pit stop. We are great for being exactly in the middle to get in contact with those around us, but itʻs also very easy to become a target, which we have. All our innocent people of Hawaii are forever in danger but we have no say in it. We were illegally overthrown and our lands were taken and occupied basically as a testing stop.
